New ways to donate to PRF!
Make a Donation in Honor of one of our Miracle Makers through First Giving
First Giving is a website dedicated to getting the word out about people who do good deeds for charity, and PRF is proud to be a part of it! View PRF's personal fundraising pages and make a Donation in honor of these terrific Miracle Makers who have "go the extra mile" to raise money and awareness about Progeria and PRF:
SPONSOR OUR LATEST HERO! In October 2006 Chas Newkey-Burden, of England, will be running the Dublin Marathon for the Progeria Research Foundation. He is donating all of the money he is raising to PRF! Here is the link to his First Giving page to sponsor Chas:

England's Steve Keens biked 1,000 miles! In June 2005, Steve completed a 1000-mile cycle ride in the classic "End to End" trail - WOW! Steve rode from Lands End in the South West of England to John O'Groats in the far North East of Scotland, the farthest point you can ride to on mainland U.K. He was inspired to ride for Hayley Okines, a little girl from England with Progeria, after reading an article about her and seeing her on TV programs about Progeria. The donations Steve collects directly are given to Hayley for trips to Disney World, and all donations collected through the First Giving page go to Progeria research to help find a cure for Hayley and other children with Progeria. 12 year old Amanda from Switzerland has reached new heights! On October 7, 2005 she climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro to raise money for PRF. Amanda reached her goal, wearing a t-shirt that proudly announced "Amanda's 19,340 feet for Progeria!" Even before this amazing feat, Amanda had raised $9,550 in sponsorships from her friends, family and school - let's get her to the $10,000 mark!
