Our Brochure

Brochure updated June 2006!
In July 2004, PRF produced a brand new brochure - with a whole new look! We have now updated that brochure to include more recent photos of children and more programs that we now have, including the clinical studies and family message board.  We've come so far since PRF was formed in 1999 when our original brochure was made, and this new pamphlet really shows it! It informatively highlights the research-related programs PRF created - Cell & Tissue Bank, Medical & Research Database, Diagnostics Testing - and describes our other activities such as the scientific workshops we coordinate, the research grants we fund, and how PRF is a valuable resource to the doctors and families of children with Progeria. Using a wonderfully colorful design with children's illustrations, the brochure also answers basic questions about Progeria and emphasizes that research on Progeria could help millions who suffer from heart disease and other aging-related conditions.

A heartfelt thanks to all those who provided pro bono services to make this new brochure a reality: Our friend Julie Pritchard, owner of JCR Design in Foxboro, Massachusetts, who without hesitation, agreed to provide design and production services; skilled copywriter Joanne Maynard of QuillCopy in Chelmsford, Massachusetts; and Jon Buddington of Global Printing in Washington, DC.

If you'd like to receive a hard copy, please email your request to info@progeriaresearch.org

Our Logo

An opened rose carried by a seagull flying upward symbolizes hope and inspiration. The background is Sam's hand print symbolizing the fact that this syndrome afflicts children, most of whom never reach adulthood. Marie Migliaccio, a graphic designer who has known Sam since birth, lovingly created the artwork, which Julie Pritchard incorporated into our new logo.
