In May 2022, The Progeria Research Foundation in partnership with Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and Boston Children’s Hospital convened a specialized meeting of high-level cardiologists and researchers to discuss the urgency of cardiac stenosis in children with progeria. The goal of this meeting was to discuss and create innovative solutions to the current barriers associated with severe aortic stenosis in Progeria. We thank the participants for accepting this opportunity to brainstorm how to address important unanswered questions towards saving children with Progeria.
